GT4 & darts

ok dart season over but still going out tonight to throw. Going with my cousing and I can beat him pretty consistely... like 8/10 in cricket and something like that in x01... But we both like to play and neither of us minds loosing or winning all the time...

I got GT4 for my b-day and have been playing it quite a bit... I really like it... I have always loved racing games and particularly with the forced feedback wheel and how good the physics are in the game I just get immersed... I really like racing... I got into a horse racing game awhile back too...

Rob came over and I borrowed my brothers wheel so we could play head to head.. it was alot of fun...

Maybe I'll hit my first 180 of the year tonight... I came close a couple times last week.

On another note... I threw good darts yesterday

We lost 2-3. I corked for our team and won 4 out of 5 corks... I hit a cork 3 times with 1 double. I threw a bunch of 60+. I hit 1 of our two doubles for wins... but missed a criticle one. We were on double 6 when our opponent was at about 170. I hit a double 13 with my first dart. Ryan did the same... them my brother wire miss... miss (close)... then trip 10 touching the double 6 wire... Then our other guy (Pitts) completely missed then they hit the double 19 to get out...

In the final game I had 157. I hit the trip 20 then wire out of trip 19 into the 3. I thought I was going to hit it... doh...

All in all I threw really well. I practiced the nite before and hit 79 with 13 trips then followed that up with 96 with 11 trips in 100 darts at the 20.

Not playing in the next session... but I will hit tournament trails... (tourneys mon,tue,wed,thru,fri... ) One of those days there isn't a tourney I forget which... I think it might be monday...

New Job... new merger!

This sucks... new job and whamo another merger... I did such a poor job of handeling it last time... perhaps this time I will do better
