My current white repertoire (WEAK!)

Wow I almost know nothing about what I am going to play. I know about 4 moves in a few lines... and that is about it! I really should flush this out a bit and know what I am going to do against each major defense...at least a bit!

Wow... Very Very Very weak!

Well at least this is a start. Now I can find a hole and plug it. Except I have no foundation! Ok 1st order of business is to learn more of my primary opening. At least get my response to the major lines down pat. Then I can fill in the gaps against the major defenses I will see. Specifically flush out the Philador and for now plug the French gap by determine a basic line in the exchange. Then I can fill the glaring hole against 1. e5 Nf6

1. e4 e5 ( 1... e6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 I was playing for the Alekhine Chatard attack but since my return to chess I have totaly forgotten it. ) ( 1... c5 2. Nf3 with the idea of g3, Bf2, d3, Re1 and eventually either f4 or if allowed... c3 and d4. Again I can get a decent game out of the opening. Perhaps I will study the siclian sometime... ) ( 1... d5 2. exd5 Qxd5 ) ( 1... Probably in a slow game I would play Bd3 for now. Since that is the line as black I have looked at the most. ( 4. Bd3 Bxd3 5. Qxd3 e6 ) 4... Bg6 5. h4 h6 6. h5 Bh7 ) 2. I have been favoring quick opening of the center and piece developement when I can just play tactics. ) 3. d4 exd4 4. c3 dxc3 5. Nxc3 Bb4 6. Bc4 Nf6 ( 6... Bxc3+ 7. bxc3 ) 7. e5 Qe7 *
